A RIDE INTO A NEW PERSPECTIVE

Today I hopped on a bike.
Wind danced across my skin. Music buzzed in my ear.
I slipped into a bodysuit—because honestly, that just felt like a main character thing to do.

Still riding high from an earlier session with Tundee, this second ride—on a real bike—felt like breaking the fourth wall. And in a way, I did. Here are the golden nuggets my body soaked up while I rode:

CHANGING DIRECTIONS

The slightest lean shifts your direction.

This dropped in while I was circling the parking lot, practicing turns before hitting the main road. One subtle lean to the right, and suddenly I’d looped right back out.

We put so much pressure on ourselves to overhaul our lives overnight—but it’s never that dramatic. The smallest shift—one more glass of water, one brave yes, one early bedtime—is enough to start a wave.

A little lean goes a long way.

YOUR EFFORT

I don’t think I’ve ever paused to really admire the fact that the moment I got tired—I could coast.

It hit me: the inner work, the spiritual work, the physical discipline… it’s not meant to be nonstop grind. Momentum is real. Sometimes your only job is to let it carry you. To sit in it. To appreciate how far your past effort has taken you.

I think of how I get to structure my days now. That ease? It came from some brutally hard decisions. But those decisions bought me freedom—and I’m so glad I chose it.

YOU NEVER FORGET

You can get “back on” whenever you’re ready.

I haven’t been on a bike in—honestly, I couldn’t tell you how many years. But I hopped on that thing and you couldn’t tell me nothing.

Sure, I was a little hesitant to take it to the main roads. So I circled the block a few times. And just like that, I was ready to zoom. It was such a beautiful reminder:
You don’t need permission.
You’re not starting from scratch.
You’re starting again—with experience.

So, go ride a bike. Take yourself to dinner. Send that proposal.

And when you’re ready to get back on your own damn “bike,” I’ll be right here, cheering you on—like the fellow baddie you are.

And if you're ready to unearth the truths your body’s been trying to tell you? Book a Reclaim It session. Let’s hear what’s been waiting to be said.
